EDD-24XT Electronic Device Detector with Extendable Rod up to 140 cm. Detects covert surveillance equipment such as spy cameras, GSM microphones, and SIM cards, even if they are turned off. Provides real-time audio feedback and display on 3.5-inch color screen. Battery life of up to 4.5 hours. Portable and lightweight, ideal for security inspections in hard-to-reach areas.
The EDD-24XT is an advanced Non-Linear Junction Detector (NLJD) designed to locate hidden electronic devices, whether they are active, passive, or completely turned off. Thanks to its adjustable extension rod , which can be extended up to 140 cm, this device is ideal for inspecting hard-to-reach areas such as high ceilings, hidden walls, or office corners. It is designed to deliver accuracy in detecting hidden threats in all types of high-security environments such as government facilities, corporate offices, vehicles, and more.
The EDD-24XT detects semiconductor circuits, present in all modern electronic devices. This allows it to locate covert surveillance equipment such as spy cameras, voice recorders, GSM microphones, GPS, tracking devices, SIM cards and much more. The detector is able to detect these devices regardless of their power state, whether they are active, in standby mode or turned off, providing an extra layer of security in any inspection.
The EDD-24XT emits high-frequency directional signals. When these signals pass over silicon circuits, used in all semiconductor devices, they generate a strong second harmonic frequency. Other materials, such as oxidized metals or bimetals, generate a third harmonic. The EDD-24XT transmits at a frequency of 2.4 GHz and picks up reflected signals at 4.8 GHz for second harmonics, and at 7.2 GHz for third harmonics. Even the smallest pieces of silicon, such as a NANO SIM card, can be detected up to 20 cm away.
The device offers a clear and simple display on its 3.5-inch colour TFT screen , which shows the detected signal strength in a bar graph, categorised as either 'Silicon' or 'Metal', allowing for a quick and accurate assessment. Additionally, it features auditory feedback which can be heard via the internal speaker or supplied headphones. In audible tone mode, the device emits a tone when it detects the second harmonic, with the pitch changing depending on the signal strength. In demodulation mode, you can also listen to the demodulated signal directly from the second harmonic receiver.
The EDD-24XT includes an adjustable aluminum wand that can be extended from 30 cm to 140 cm, ideal for scanning high or hard-to-reach areas. The head can also be adjusted to five viewing angles within a 90-degree range, allowing a clear view of the screen to be maintained during inspections.
During inspections, the EDD-24XT provides real-time audible alerts via the internal speaker or supplied headphones. The audible tone changes its pitch based on signal strength, making it easy to search without having to constantly look at the screen. In demodulation mode, you can listen to the demodulated signals, providing additional information about detected devices.
Weighing less than 1kg and featuring a built-in lithium polymer battery that offers up to 4.5 hours of continuous use, the EDD-24XT is highly portable and comfortable to handle for extended periods of time. Additionally, the set includes 200g counterweights that can be added to the base of the rod to improve balance and comfort during extended use. All equipment is stored in a military-grade carrying case , designed to protect the device during transport and ensure its durability under demanding conditions.
